Booking Home Services isn't the problem

Booking a cleaner isn’t hard.

Booking a dog walker isn’t hard.

Even finding a handyman isn’t the hard part anymore.

What’s hard is managing all of it.

Multiple people.

Different schedules.

Constant follow-ups.

Letting new people into your home.

Wondering if they’ll show up. Or do it right.

That’s the "second shift."

And it doesn’t go away just because you outsource a task.

Research from Gallup shows that in dual-income households, one person usually ends up carrying the responsibility of managing household tasks. Not just doing them, but planning, coordinating, and remembering them.

If you’re that one person reading this, you immediately know this feeling.

Separately, studies on decision fatigue show that the more decisions you make throughout the day, the worse those decisions become over time.

Managing a home isn’t just physical work.

It’s constant micro-decisions.

Who’s coming?

When are they coming?

Did they confirm?

Do I trust them?

What needs to happen next?

That’s where the real cost is.

So, at Geoffrey we stopped asking:

“How do we help people book services?”

And started asking:

“How do we remove the responsibility of managing a home altogether?”

That shift led us to what we’re launching May 15th, 2026...
